Colour Study: Steel Blue
Every UNIKSPACE colour story begins somewhere specific — a place, a light, a memory. Steel Blue begins with the Aegean.
It’s the first shade introduced in our Aegean Light capsule: a soft, understated blue that sits between the colour of open water and an overcast sky. Not navy, not pastel — something quieter. The kind of blue that reads as neutral in low light and comes alive in the sun.
We chose it for the same reason we choose most things at UNIKSPACE: because it wears well beyond the season it was designed for. Steel Blue sits comfortably next to white, cream and the rest of the Core palette, which means the pieces carrying it won’t date the way a trend colour does.
Styling notes: pair with raw linen or ivory for warm-weather ease, or with black for a starker, evening-ready take. Because the tone is muted, it layers without competing — a rare quality in blue.
