It guides how we design, how we work with our partners, and how we communicate with the women who wear our pieces. From the natural fibres we choose to the small production runs we create, every decision is made with care and longevity in mind.

Since launching UNIKSPACE in 2018, our focus has been on creating timeless clothing that feels effortless to wear and is made to be lived in. We believe thoughtful design, honest relationships and respect for the natural world are essential in building a brand that lasts.

Responsible business, for us, is an ongoing process of learning and improvement. We aim to make considered choices wherever we can and remain open about the journey as we continue to grow.

MISSION & VISION 

At UNIKSPACE we create timeless clothing designed to be worn and loved for years to come. Our approach is rooted in thoughtful design, natural fibres, and a deep respect for the people and environments connected to our work.

We believe clothing should feel effortless, considered, and enduring — pieces that simplify wardrobes while honouring the connection between people, makers, and the natural world.

Our journey as a responsible business is guided by two core values: Longevity and Community.

 LONGEVITY 

Longevity shapes the way we design and produce.

We focus on timeless silhouettes, natural materials, and thoughtful craftsmanship to create pieces that transcend seasons and remain relevant for years to come. By producing in small runs and prioritising quality over quantity, we aim to reduce overproduction and encourage a more mindful relationship with clothing.

For us, longevity means caring for both the garments we create and the planet we share.

 COMMUNITY

Community is part of the foundation of UNIKSPACE. From the friendships that inspired the brand, to the relationships we share with our makers, team, customers, and wider community — connection shapes everything we do.

We believe clothing can bring people together. By working closely with our makers and listening to the women who wear our pieces, we continue to learn, evolve, and create in a way that feels thoughtful, respectful, and collaborative.

PRODUCTION

Our journey at UNIKSPACE led us to partner with a small production team in Bali, Indonesia — an island whose culture and craftsmanship captured our hearts early in the brand’s story.

Since launching UNIKSPACE in 2018, we have worked closely with our manufacturing partners in Bali to bring our designs to life. Our pieces are produced in small runs by a skilled team who carefully make each garment.

We value long-term relationships and work collaboratively with our partners, growing and learning together over time. Producing in limited quantities allows us to explore different designs and colourways while responding to what our customers love. It also helps reduce unnecessary waste and avoids overproduction — one of the fashion industry’s biggest challenges.

 

 ANIMAL WELFARE

We respect the role animals play in our ecosystem and aim to make thoughtful material choices across our collections.

UNIKSPACE will never use materials derived from vulnerable or endangered species, fur, angora or rabbit hair. Our garments are primarily made from natural fibres such as linen, cotton, hemp and silk.

Across our collections we use natural shell buttons in place of plastic. 

 DIVERSITY & INCLUSION

Being genuine in how we design, communicate and work with others is fundamental to UNIKSPACE. 

Our brand was founded through friendship and collaboration across cultures, and respect for one another is a value we carry through everything we do.

We design clothing for women in all stages of life, creating pieces that are comfortable, adaptable, and made to be lived in. When possible, we also offer custom sizing beyond our standard range so more women can find a piece that feels right for them.

For us, inclusion is about creating a brand culture built on openness, respect, and authenticity.

PACKAGING

Since the beginning of UNIKSPACE, we have avoided plastic packaging in our online orders.

Our garments are sent in compostable satchels made from corn starch, along with FSC-certified 100% recycled paper boxes and packaging tape. These materials can be recycled or composted depending on local facilities.
