International Women’s Day: Shop for Change

In celebration of International Women’s Day, UNIKSPACE is participating in Shop for Change with i=Change from 8–10 March.

For three days, we will give back $3 from every order, tripling our usual impact. Each purchase will support Educate a Girl, a program by Her Future Coalition that provides education and opportunity for girls living in the slums of Calcutta.

In these male dominated communities, girls are often the last to receive education. Many never attend school and instead face futures shaped by poverty, child labour, early marriage or trafficking. Even when families want education for their daughters, the cost can make it impossible.

Through long-term education programs, tutoring and safe learning environments, Her Future Coalition helps girls stay in school, continue their studies, and build independent futures. Many girls who begin these programs as children go on to complete higher education and return to strengthen their communities.

Just $1.50 provides a full day of quality education for a girl.

Over these three days, our goal is simple: to create meaningful impact together for the girls of Calcutta.
