UNIKSPACE is turning 5!
UNIKSPACE is turning 5 this November and we’d love to take the time to reflect on the past years which have been eventful, to say the least!
We launched UNIKSPACE In 2018 with an incredible launch party and our first fashion show exhibiting Collection.01, of which many pieces are still part of our Core Collection and have become well loved UNIK signatures. During our first year of UNIK, Luci welcomed her third baby, and eight months later Elin had her first baby, so needless to say this upped the ante. For the first 2 years we worked from Elin’s place with babies & toddlers in tow, and moving into our own studio space in 2020 felt like a big milestone for us.
In 2022, Camilla welcomed her third baby, adding to the UNIKSPACE family, having launched our 6th collection with a fashion show just days before little River was born. 2022 also saw us partnering with online retailer, the Iconic which has allowed us to reach a wider audience in both Australia and New Zealand. 2023 has been a big year for us so far with having the honour to design our first wedding dress, moving into a new studio space, visiting Bali for the first time as a team, meeting our makers and experiencing the culture of where our pieces are made.
During the past 5 years, we have launched 7 collections with the eighth on its way, held 5 fashion shows, welcomed 3 babies with our fourth baby due any day now and are about to introduce UNIK MINI to our offering. We have learned (and continue to do so) lots about running a fashion label and independent business. We have loved every minute of this journey, feeling honoured to have dressed thousands of incredible women all over the world and are beyond excited for what the future brings. Thank you for being a part of our UNIK community, we could not have gotten here without your support and appreciate every single one of you with all our hearts. We have some exciting plans for UNIKSPACE and hope you will enjoy the ride with us as we continue to do what we love, for you to love.
