VALENTINE'S DAY, WITHOUT THE PRICE TAG

We believe celebrating love doesn't need to be complicated. It can be as simple as slowing down and spending time with the people you love.
This Valentine's Day, we have gathered a considered edit of ways to celebrate the day with intention.
Discover below a few thoughtful ways to celebrate, including a simple recipe, instructions for folding origami hearts and a playlist we have created just for you.

1. MAKE ORIGAMI HEARTS
(with a handwritten note inside for your loved ones)
2. WATCH THE SUNRISE
(start the day slowly)
3. BAKE HEALTHY TREATS
(make it fun with heart shaped cookies, a simple moment with your little ones)
4. DRINK A NOURISHING TEA IN BED
(a gentle way to start the morning)

5. COOK A MEAL WITH SOMEONE YOU LOVE
(or order in!)
6. GO FOR A WALK IN NATURE
(to reset your nervous system)

HOW TO MAKE ORIGAMI PAPER HEARTS

You’ll need:
1 rectangular piece of paper (20 x 8.3 cm)
Method:
-
Place the paper white side up.
-
Fold the bottom corners up diagonally, then unfold.
-
Fold the top corners down diagonally, then unfold and flip the paper over.
-
Bring the top and bottom edges into the centre and crease well.
-
Fold the right side over to the left, then flip over again.
-
Fold the outer corners in to begin shaping the heart.
-
Create small triangle folds and gently open them into squash folds to form the rounded edges.
-
Fold the top point down slightly to shape the heart.
-
Tuck the left and right edges in a little, flip it over — and your heart is complete.
- Open the flap at the back and write a love note if you wish.
